Without a Navigation Menu Bar on your blog, it will be difficult
to scroll through pages and find relevant content. The option in Blogger to create Menu Tabs below your Blog Header has
been made simple with the outcome of the new blogger dashboard. Now you can easily create Menu Tabs on your blog without using HTML Codes. You can link your Menu Tabs to a page or post on your Blog, a page on another Blog,
labels/categories, or any external link you want.
Creating Navigation Menu Bar using this method will also display all
your Menu Tabs on Blogger Mobile Template i.e. all your Menu Tabs will also be displayed on Mobile Version of your Blog.
Just follow these simple steps and you will be able to add a Navigation Menu Bar to your Blog.
1. Login to your Blogger Dashboard and select the Blog in which you want to add the Navigation Menu Bar.
2. Now select the Pages Tab. By Default the Home Tab is already created on it that is linked to your Blog Home page. So you don't need to create it again. Now to create a new page like About Us, Contact Us etc, just click on New page as shown below.
3. Now you have two options here. Either create a new page that the tab should display when someone clicks on it by selecting Blank page option or if you want to link the tab to an existing page on your Blog, you want to link the tab to an external web page then select Web address option.
4. Now if you select Blank page option then you will be taken to Page editor wherein you can create a page for your menu tab. In the Page title box enter the name of your tab. Then write the content of the page and when you are done, click on the Publish Button. Repeat this process every time you want to create a New Tab by using the Blank page option.
5. If you select the Web address option then a Window will appear on your screen as shown below. In the Page title box enter the name of your tab and in the Web address (URL) box enter the URL that you want to link with the tab. When you are done click on the Save Button. Repeat this process every time you want to create a New Tab by using the Web address option.
6. The next thing to do is to choose how or where you want your menu tab to appear. So click on the Button next to "Show pages as" and set it to Top tabs. This will make your Menu Bar appear below your Blog Header. Then click on Save arrangement Button.
That's it. Now view your Blog and you will be able to see a Navigation Menu Bar.
